Biography: Jody Byrne
Dr Jody Byrne is a professional translator and Lecturer in Translation Studies in the School of Modern Language and Linguistics at the University of Sheffield. Jody's research interests include technical translation, usability, translation technology, technical communication and translator training. His publications include Technical Translation: Usability Strategies for Translating Technical Documentation (2006, Springer) and the translation from German of The Book of Zope (2001, No Starch/Beehive).
