Biography: Maribel Tercedor Sánchez
Maribel Tercedor Sánchez teaches scientific and technical translation, and audiovisual translation (localisation and subtitling) at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Granada, where she is a Senior Lecturer. Her principal research interests lie in the areas of terminology, scientific and technical translation, accessibility in audiovisual translation, and translation technology. Biography: Esperanza Alarcón Navío
Esperanza Alarcón Navío is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Granada (Spain). She teaches scientific and technical translation and holds degrees from the University of Granada and the Autonomous University of Madrid. Biography: Juan Antonio Prieto Velasco
Juan Antonio Prieto Velasco holds a PhD in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Granada. His thesis is on the relationship between graphic information and specialised discourse. He has lectured in Terminology and Computer Science applied to Translation and his main research interests are terminology, specialised knowledge representation and scientific and technical translation. Biography: Clara Inés López Rodríguez
Clara Inés López Rodríguez teaches scientific and technical translation at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the University of Granada (Spain), where she is a senior lecturer. She holds degrees from the Universities of Granada and Portsmouth. Her PhD thesis is on the relation between lexical cohesion, text type and medical translation.
