Biography
Kelly Washbourne is
Associate Professor of Translation at Kent State University (USA). He earned
his MA in Translation (Monterey Institute of International Studies) and his PhD
in Hispanic Literature and Linguistics (University of Massachusetts Amherst). His
English-language edition of Nobel Laureate Miguel Ángel Asturias’s Leyendas de Guatemala won a National Endowment for the Arts
Translation Fellowship in 2010. He is co-editor of the Translation Practices
Explained series (St. Jerome).
