Biography
Laura Cruz-García is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting of the Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Her PhD thesis (2001) examined the translation of advertising in the sector of computing. Her research fields include advertising and audiovisual translation, and LSP and the teaching of foreign languages in Translation Studies. She has published articles in journals like Meta. Journal des Traducteurs, Studia Anglica Posnaniensia and Iberica.
