MARINA RAMOS is Lecturer in Translation at the University of Murcia, Spain. Her PhD, 2013, investigates the emotional reception of Audio Description. She is particularly interested in the influence of emotions and personality in the process and reception of translation. Dr Ramos has been awarded several international grants, presented her work in international conferences and published in journals such as Journal of Pragmatics, MonTi, Translation Spaces, The Translator and Perspectives. As a professional translator, Marina Ramos has mainly worked within the fields of subtitling, dubbing and transcreation.

ANA ROJO is Professor of Translation at the University of Murcia, Spain, where she is currently Deputy Director of the International Doctoral School. Her research interests focus on the study of the translation process, with special emphasis on the role of emotions and creativity, audience reception analysis and the contributions of cognitive linguistics to translation studies. She has authored and co-edited numerous articles and books, among which Step by Step. A Course in Contrastive Linguistics and Translation (Peter Lang, 2009), Trends in Cognitive Linguistics (Peter Lang, 2009), Diseños y métodos de investigación en traducción (Síntesis, 2013), Interdisciplinarity in Translation Studies (Peter Lang, 2016), and Translation as an Emotional Phenomenon (John Benjamins, in press).
