Biographies
Segun Afolabi taught translation and communication courses to undergraduate students for over a decade in Nigeria before proceeding to obtain a PhD degree in Translation Studies from Laval University, Canada, where he currently works as a researcher/translator. He is a certified translator and member of the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ). His research interests include translator/interpreter training, translation market needs analysis, translation policies, political translation, history of translation, machine translation and CAT tools.

Oludamilola I. Oyetoyan obtained a PhD degree in Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies from the University of Leipzig, Germany, taught translation during her doctorate studies, and is a freelance translator. Her research interests include professional translation teaching and practice, language varieties and translation. She currently teaches Text Linguistics, German and German Didactics at the Department of Foreign Languages, University of Bergen, Norway.
