Biography
Anna Franca Plastina is Associate Professor of English Language and Translation at the University of Calabria, Italy. Her interests include multimodal translation and discourse analysis of specialised language in the new media. She coordinates the inter-university CLAVIER research unit at the University of Calabria. Her most recent publications include the chapter on Healthy Pic Hashtagging in Twitter: The Role of Infographics in #AntibioticGuardian (Routledge Studies in Multimodality Book Series, 2022).
